Sherburne resources: lots of space and sun decent soil nice brook at the lower end seasonal pond in the middle --could be dug out deeper water not too far underground? need well drilled (< $2000) harvesting a decent amount of wind energy should be possible delicious blackcaps (purple canes) willows along the brook for trellises, etc. two real apples trees, near end-of-life stage crabapples -- nice wood for BBQs lots of poplars, some conifers, other mixed deciduous 1-2 cords of freshly-cut 16" length sugar maple rounds occasional edible wild mushrooms (puffballs, other?) lots of "edge" areas: around poplar stands, conifer treeline at edge of "cliff", wet area below cliff, brook's edge challenges: lots of blackberry brambles (maroon canes) bullthistles down by the brook -- at the north, drier end of property no naturally-good area to grow wild rice
